The Plight of the Pelican


Pelicans are one of the most gangly birds around. The fly funny and when the go to catch a fish the dive head first into the water. That being said they only recently were taken off the Endangered Species list. Even though they are not on the list an more they are still struggling to adjust and continue to thrive.

Point Defiance Zoo Shark Dive


At Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma you can go and dive with Sharks in the aquarium. (If your a certified scuba diver) or do a cage dive if your not. Reservations are required and the cost for the non-cage dive is $160 for Zoo members; $175 for non-members or the cage dive is $50 Zoo members; $65 non-members
